Recently, our complete silage processing package finished factory testing and container loading. It includes four king grass baler wrapper units, one chaff cutter, and large quantities of wrapping film and bale net.

The full set was shipped to a Kenyan livestock farm. It will support the customer’s large-scale king grass silage production for year-round cattle feeding.

Customer background & silage production demand

The Kenyan customer runs a large‑scale dairy and beef cattle farm with hundreds of livestock. King grass (napier grass) is grown on‑site as the main forage. Traditional manual baling and air‑drying lead to heavy nutrient loss, and feed quality drops in rainy seasons.

To establish a steady year‑round silage supply and cut feed waste, the customer looked for full‑set mechanized silage equipment. After comparing several suppliers and checking machine performance, he selected our complete solution: king grass baler wrapper units, one chaff cutter and supporting consumables.

Full configuration of the king grass baler wrapper package

This king grass baler wrapper package covers every step from raw grass chopping to finished sealed silage bales:

  1. Four units of model 55-52 baler wrapper: 18hp electric-start diesel engine, 550×520mm bale size, 60–65 bales/hour (5–6 t/h), 65–100 kg per bale, 450–500 kg/m³ bale density. It has a PLC control panel with English settings and automatic film cutting and feeding. It comes with a small trolley, air compressor, and toolbox.
  2. One model 9RSZ-6 chaff cutter: 22hp power, 6 t/h output, 40 blades, ≥2300mm throwing height. It is used for chopping king grass before baling.
  3. 900 rolls of wrapping film: 27cm width, 25μm thickness, 1800m length, 10.4kg per roll.
  4. 220 rolls of bale net: 50cm width, 15μm thickness, 2000m length, 11.4kg per roll.

Each baler wrapper was factory-tested before delivery. The bale weight was adjusted to a moderate range. We also supplied spare bearings, chains, sprockets, blades and proximity switches for long-term maintenance.

Factory testing & order confirmation process

During communication, our engineers analyzed the local king grass yield and farm scale in Kenya. We recommended this four-unit baler wrapper configuration to match the customer’s daily forage volume. We provided real operation videos of the king grass baler wrapper and chaff cutter.

We also explained the complete silage workflow from chopping to wrapping. The customer recognized the stable bale density, reliable sealing performance, and labor-saving advantages. Then he confirmed the full package order.

Standard export packaging & shipment on-site

All four king grass baler wrapper units and the chaff cutter received anti-rust treatment first. Main machine bodies were wrapped with multi-layer waterproof and shockproof protective film.

Each unit was further secured with stretch film as required. Wrapping film rolls and bale net rolls were separately packed in solid export cartons and wooden cases. This prevents compression damage during transport.

All-round after-sales technical support

We provide complete English operation and maintenance manuals for the king grass baler wrapper and chaff cutter. Our technical team offers 24-hour online remote guidance. This covers equipment installation, PLC parameter setting, daily maintenance and wearing-part replacement.

We also guarantee long-term supply of wrapping film, bale net, blades and other spare parts. This supports uninterrupted silage production for the Kenyan farm.
