优点
结构简单、安装方便、成本低、生产率高。
缺点
- 干燥谷物的均匀性差，单位热耗高，不能用于干燥多种谷物。
- 干燥后，对于一些谷物来说，很难达到质量要求。
- 内外筛孔需经常清洗。
Mixed flow corn drying machine
混流式玉米烘干机采用三角形或五边形交叉排列组成的塔体结构。有很多制造商。
优势
- 热风供给均匀，干燥后粮食水分含量更均匀。
- 单位热耗为5%～15%。
- 干燥介质所需风机功率单位消耗较小。
- 应用广泛。适用于不同种类的谷物和种子
- 易于清洁。
缺点
- 结构复杂，生产成本较其他类型高。

Downstream grain drying machine
Downstream grain dryer are mostly tower-type structures that combine a funnel-type air inlet and an angular box exhaust.
优势
- 热风温度高，温度段可达150～250℃；
- 单位热耗低，能保证粮食质量。
- 连续干燥时降水范围大，一般可达10%至15%；
- 适用于干燥水分较多的谷物。
缺点
- 结构相对复杂，生产成本比混流式烘干机高。
- 粮层厚度太厚，高压风机功率大。
