Features at a Glance
The peony transplanter machine is designed for precise transplanting of tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, cabbage, lettuce, onions, broccoli, cucumbers, watermelons, sweet corn, beets, sweet potatoes, peonies, and various medicinal herbs.
We provide three models: wheeled self‑propelled, crawler self‑propelled and tractor‑towed.
Driven by 4.05–7.5 kW gasoline engines or ≥30 HP tractors, it supports 1–12 rows with adjustable plant spacing (8–50 cm), row spacing (10–50 cm) and depth (4–15 cm). Efficiency reaches up to 3,600 plants/hour or over 4,000 ㎡/hour.
It performs stably on flat land, hills, terraces and wetlands, ensuring uniform planting and high survival rates — ideal for modern vegetable bases, cooperatives and large farms.
This machine is usually used in conjunction with a nursery machine to plant the cultivated seedlings. You can learn more about seedling machines by clicking: Nursery Seeding Machine | Seeder Machine | Vegetable Seeder Machine.
Type one: Tractor-driven transplanting machine
The tractor-driven peony transplanter machine is driven by the tractor’s PTO, with no need for a separate power system. Its simple structure ensures stable operation, ideal for large-scale planting bases.
It offers 2‑, 4‑, 6‑, 8‑, 10‑ or 12‑row models to suit different farm sizes and crops. Plant spacing is adjustable from 100–500 mm, row spacing 150–500 mm, and transplanting depth 4–15 cm, meeting various agronomic needs.
It works for tomatoes, peppers, pineapples, peonies, and other tuber crops. Optional modules include ridging, fertilizing, mulching, drip tape installation, spraying, and irrigation. This all-in-one machine greatly improves efficiency and cuts labor costs, making it key for modern agricultural mechanization.

Type two: Self-propelled transplanting machine
The self-propelled peony transplanters come in two types: wheeled and tracked models. Both are powered by gasoline engines, integrating automatic movement with transplanting functions for flexible operation.
They are suitable for small to medium-sized farms and diverse terrains. Power ranges from 4.05 kW to 7.5 kW, and configurations support 1 to 12 rows to meet varying planting-scale requirements.
Wheeled self-propelled transplanter
Compact structure, responsive steering, and easy transport make it suitable for plains, greenhouses, and general hilly areas.
Supports 1-row, 2-row, or 4-row operations with adjustable plant spacing from 20–50cm, delivering stable efficiency.
Manual seedling placement ensures uniform and orderly planting, significantly reducing labor intensity.
| Model | Gasoline engine(kW) | Plant spacing(cm) | Row spacing(cm) | Capacity(acre/h) | Working rows |
| 2ZBZ-1A | 4.06 | 20-50 | / | 0.25 | 1 |
| 2ZBZ-2A | 4.06 | 20-50 | 30-50 | 0.25-0.3 | 2 |
| 2ZBZ-4A | 4.06 | 20-50 | 15-30 | 0.25-0.5 | 4 |

Crawler-type self-propelled transplanter
Features a crawler-tracked structure with large ground contact area and strong traction, enabling stable operation on complex terrains like wetlands, hills, and terraced fields.
Supports efficient 4–12 row transplanting with adjustable plant spacing (8–20cm) and customizable row spacing to meet agronomic requirements.
Ideal for high-density crops like onions, cabbage, broccoli, and medicinal herbs, particularly suited for large-scale, continuous field production.

Working principle of peony transplanter
The main working principle is to apply the rotation of the double crankshaft to drive the seedling needle. The force between the seedling needle and the tractor can ensure that the seedling is planted vertically.
