Full-Automatic Silage Baler Machine Forage Baling Equipment
Forage baler | Hay baling machine
The round silage baler machine is professional equipment designed to bundle and wrap various crops, including corn stalks, wheat straw, rice straw, grass, and other filamentous forage. It integrates automatic baling and film wrapping, allowing for high-efficiency silage production while reducing labor and storage requirements.
We offer three main models: the classic TZ-55-52, the TZ-70, and the newly launched 9YDB-60, all engineered for automated operation. Depending on the model, each machine can produce 50–80 bales per hour, with bale sizes adjustable to meet different storage and transport needs. The discharge port and bale dimensions vary slightly among models to accommodate different farm layouts and crop types.
With compact design, reliable performance, and high output, our silage baler and wrapper machines are ideal for livestock farms, feed processing facilities, and large-scale forage operations, providing a cost-effective solution for high-quality silage production.
Our silage baler machines have been exported to Kenya, Pakistan, South Africa, Malaysia, and other countries, supporting long-term partnerships with farmers and distributors. For optimal results, pairing the baler with a grass cutting machine is recommended, as pre-cut filamentous forage ensures tighter, more uniform bales and better preservation quality.
Application of the corn silage baler machine

Main structure of round silage packing machine
- Baling part: forage is fed evenly into the baling chamber and compressed into dense round bales. When each bale reaches the preset weight (about 80 kg), the machine automatically starts the tying process. After binding with a rope, the bale is discharged, completing the baling cycle.
- Wrapping part: the finished bale is placed onto the wrapping platform with two parallel belts. The rotating frame turns the bale while stretching plastic film around it automatically. Users can adjust the wrapping layers, usually from 2 to 4 layers, to ensure proper sealing and preservation.

How to install a silage baler machine?
- Install the silage film with the red side facing up, fix it on the frame, and adjust the film distance if necessary.
- Thread the rope through the baler’s tying hole.
- Connect the three-phase power supply and set the control adjusters.
- Connect the air pump and keep the air pressure at 0.6–0.8 MPa.
Before use, check all parts and ensure the machine runs in the correct direction.

Type 2: TZ-70 Silage baling wrapping machine
- This machine works the same as the 55-52 model in principle and structure.
- The finished round bale diameter is 70 cm.
- It uses plastic net rope for tying.
- The output reaches 50–60 bales per hour, with each bale weighing 180–260 kg.
- Due to its large size, the machine is equipped with a 3 or 5 m³ silo.

What is the best partner for a stalk baler machine?
Please check the working video. Before baling the silage, we can process the stalk by using the chaff cutter machine. The processed stalk can enter the baler’s conveyor directly.
It is good for saving the stalk’s nutrition. So, the chaff cutter is the best partner for a round silage baler. Customer can choose according to their needs.
FAQ of silage baler and wrapper machine
What is the raw material?
The raw material is nearly all kinds of silage, fresh or dry straws of wheat, rice, soybean, corn, etc.
What is the difference between the two silage baler machines?
The difference between them lies in whether the bundles can move to be baled with film automatically. As for the semi-automatic baler machine, people need to push the bundles to the baling part.
Can I adjust the size of the bundles?
No, it can not be adjusted.
How many layers are around the bundle?
2-4 layers. You can adjust according to your needs.
Use and maintenance of the baling machine
Use of the baler machine
- Check all parts are secure and lubricated before starting.
- Rotate the machine manually 3–5 times to ensure normal operation.
- Pull the clutch handle to confirm correct rotation; never operate in reverse.
- Run the machine empty for 2–3 minutes to check for smooth operation and no abnormalities.
Maintenance of silage baler machine
- After 3–5 bales, stop and inspect rotating and fixed parts for any issues.
- Every 30 minutes, clear debris under the feeding roller to reduce wear and resistance (power off before cleaning).
- Perform full maintenance after producing 2,000 bales, then restart following the above checks.
This ensures safe operation, prevents overheating, and prolongs machine life.

Advantages of round bale wrappers
- Improved storage: wrapping with plastic film can help protect forage from moisture, air, and other environmental factors. This reduces spoilage and maintains the quality of the forage over a longer period.
- Reduced labor costs: silage baler machines can get the job done quickly. Wrapped bales are easier to handle and transport than loose forage. This can reduce the need for labor, saving time and money.
- Improves feed quality: wrapping feed in plastics helps to maintain the nutritional value of the forage. This is because it prevents the growth of harmful bacteria, molds, and other microorganisms that can reduce the quality of feed.
