The newly upgraded 9YDB-60 belt-type silage round baler wrapper features a herringbone belt compression structure and a fully automated PLC control system. It achieves full-process automation for baling, film pulling, wrapping, hopper opening/closing, and bale flipping/discharge.
The equipment achieves a production efficiency of 50–75 bales per hour, with individual bale weights ranging from 90–140kg. Bale specifications are Φ600×520mm, and bale density exceeds 800kg/m³, enabling a daily processing capacity of over 48 tons.
High-density compaction combined with multi-layer forage film sealing effectively blocks air, promotes lactic acid fermentation, and significantly reduces spoilage rates. This makes it the ideal silage equipment for ranches, cooperatives, and large agricultural enterprises.

Forage baler and wrapper working principle
- Raw material pre-processing: silage feedstock is typically shredded by a chopper before being uniformly fed into the baling chamber via an automatic conveyor belt.
- Compression molding: the belt and pressure rollers work together to compress the material into high-density cylindrical bales.
- Automatic film wrapping: upon completion of baling, film is automatically drawn and uniformly wrapped around the bale, achieving full encapsulation.
- Automatic bale flip and discharge: the wrapped bale is automatically flipped and discharged for convenient loading or storage.
